The Sequence Of Operation

MECOBOND® mold cores and MECOBOND® mold inserts

 

1.
Immediately after receipt of your inquiry (with drawings), we send you a drawing containing our proposed design for the blank (steel body, copper body, machining allowances, gap etc.)

2.
You produce the drawings for the individual blanks for you tool and send them to us for approval.

3.
You request MECOBOND® copper semi-finished material (round-format material) from us.

4.
You manufacture the individual blanks (steel bodies with machined cavities, copper bodies and steel interior bodies) using data provided by us.

5.
You send us the individual blanks.

ALTERNATIVE I

- We make the MECOBOND® bond and send you the bonded blanks in the soft-annealed state.

- You machine the die cores or inserts to their hardness dimensions.

- We carry out MECOBOND® hardening (1.2343; 1.2344; 1.2083; 1.2379 etc.)

 

ALTERNATIVE II

- We carry out the combined MECOBOND® treatment (bonding and hardening) and send you the bonded blanks in their final hardened state.
