In practice, MECOBOND® is used both for ejector-side and nozzle-side mold cores, slides, mold inserts, hotrunner components, cast-in anvil cores etc. In plastics processing, its field of application embraces both Thermoplast and Duroplast injection molding.
In metal high pressure die casting, its applications extend from zinc and magnesium through to aluminium mold casting, and even higher-melting special materials.
